Vision Statement

To honor and celebrate the 2000-year heritage of Christ followers in India since the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle in AD 52, while recognizing the substantial contributions made by Indian Christians to nation-building, preserving our identity within India's rich cultural heritage, and fostering national unity and progress.

Significance of July 3

July 3rd, is the traditionally accepted martyrdom day of Apostle St. Thomas, Apostle of India, disciple of Lord Jesus Christ, who arrived in India in 52 AD and was martyred in Chennai in 72 AD.

Declaration of 3 July 2021

An annual day of remembrance by the Indian followers of Lord Jesus Christ, to celebrate the person and message of JESUS CHRIST which was brought to India in 52 AD by one of His twelve disciples, St. Thomas the Apostle.
